Icon Security has partnered with MCS Digital since 2003 when we were recommended the Edacs radio network. This network and the service support we received from Alex and all the staff at MCS was unquestionable.

Icon Security due to its rapid growth and the securing of several large corporate contracts required an upgraded radio and network to facilitate our needs to meet contractual obligations.

MCS Digital at this time had just partnered with Kordia so it made business sense to follow MCS Digital’s advice and purchase Motorola radios utilising the KORKOR national network. Our radios now allow our security officers to utilise all three means of communication within the radio, i.e. text messaging, voice messaging, connection to cellular and land line, and their welfare is protected with internal GPS tracking in each handheld radio.

Even during the recent events in Christchurch where all other forms of communication failed, we were still able to maintain constant contact with our staff via the KORKOR national network.
